526 graduates of Timoteo Paez Elementary School recently attended their Commencement Exercises with the theme, “Pagkakaisa sa Pagkakaiba-iba: Kalidad na Edukasyon para sa Lahat” (Unity in Diversity: Quality Education for All) last April 2 at TPES Covered Court.
Present in the ceremony were TPES school head, Mrs. Glenda D. Tabaquirao, Principal IV; Dr. Melody P. Cruz, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent of Pasay City; Dr. Azucena L. Evardone, PSDS – Cluster 3; Dr. Eduardo V. Wong, EPS – Filipino; Dr. Tirso V. Gali, ACES Principal; and Mr. Noel F. Junio, MMES Principal. Pasay City Mayor Antonino G. Calixto, Vice Mayor Boyet Del Rosario, and Cong. Emi Calixto-Rubiano also graced the event.
The 73rd TPES Commencement Exercises were highlighted by the traditional graduation march of the 270 male and 256 female graduates together with their parents, as well as their individual acceptance of Certificate of Recognition onstage.
Also included in the graduation rites were the conferral of Academic Awards to 23 pupils with honors and 2 pupils with high honors — Darius G. Lising, who headed the Graduation Oath; and John Luis Picaña who delivered the graduation speech respectively.
Capping off the ceremony was the singing of the graduates of “Sa Aming Awit” and the TPES Hymn, followed by the graduation recessional of guests, teachers, graduates, and parents.
