Committed to ensure quality in the delivery of the DepEd training program, Timoteo Paez Elementary School held a three–day training workshop of the Schools Electronic Quality Assurance Technical Assistance, Monitoring and Evaluation (e-QATAME), School Monitoring and Evaluation Adjustment (SMEA), and Learning and Development (L and D). which was participated by all TPES Master Teachers and Coordinators last January 29-31, 2019 at the TPES Learning Resource Center.
The said training aimed to provide guidance and tools to ensure that services in the trainings, workshops, and conferences consistently meet the stakeholders needs and for its quality to constantly improve. The training–workshop helped the participants to be equipped with knowledge and skills in managing QATAME. Another goal of this event is to familiarize the participants with the competencies in contextualizing forms in conducting QATAME of every subsystem in the Learning and Development System.
Mrs. Glenda D. Tabaquirao, Principal IV, graced the opening remarks and stated that everyone needs to comply and gradually adapt to the new system. She also emphasized that the QATAME is a new system to be implemented in every seminar conducted by schools for Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) seminar points accreditation.
The QATAME team who are composed of Mrs. Rowela R. Cadayona, MT 2 and SBM Coordinator; Mrs Sailey R. Magallano, MT 2 and PAPS Coordinator; Ms. Yolanda A. Banog, MT 1 and BAC Coordinator; Mrs. Jessica L. Madronio, MT 1; Mr. Andres S. Aῆano, IT Coordinator; and Mrs. Glenda D. Tabaquirao, Principal IV and Chairman, are also those who spearheaded the entire training program and served as the speakers.
On the first day of the QATAME Orientation, Specific Roles and Responsibilities of the QATAME Associates in the Delivery of DepEd Interventions Training Programs were tackled. The L and D Framework, QATAME Associates Competency Standards, and the School-Based Procurement were also discussed in the afternoon.
On the second day, DMEA Rationale, Best Practices, Concepts and Issues were presented, followed by sessions on Strategic Goals Designing Measurement Tools for Effective Program Evaluation, and DMEA/ SMEA Status Check.
Topics on Continuing Professional Development, Learning and Development System, Improving Leadership and Decision-Making Skills for Master Teachers, Designing Learning Events, and Learning and Development Needs Assessment were discussed on the last day, January 31. The closing and awarding ceremony took place later that afternoon.
