KINDERGARTEN FAMILY DAY

I want to share with you the special celebration we held at Timoteo Paez Elementary School with our pupils and their families, called Family Fun Day. This event happens once a year and has gained importance in the lives of the children here in our school.

The opening remarks was delivered by our Master Teacher Mrs. Rowela R. Cadayona and the inspirational message was given by our PSDS Dr. Azucena L. Evardone.

Every team was given a chance to showcase their endowed talents in dancing. The crowd was entertained by the performances of different team colors – Pink, Green, Yellow, Red, and Violet.

Family Day gives family members and their children a chance to celebrate the meaning of being a family and to spend quality time with their loved ones by participating in fun activities together.

Let me share you the highlights of the event through photos of hundred people coming together to enjoy a day with their families. This event gave parents the opportunity to bond with their kids and meet other preschoolers.

Many the games and activities were participated by parents who also guided their children in learning meaningful family values and positive messages about family unity.

One of the parents who participated said, “It was fun and we laughed a lot and I saw that together with my family we are capable of doing things together.” Another parent said, “I spent a lovely day with my little boy, I wish this day was celebrated more often.”

Games like Ball Relay (pingpong), Passing of Flour Game, Bring me, Rubber Band Relay and raffles were part of the program, too.

Indeed, Family Day is a celebration honoring family. It helps family members show affection with each other. When children feel close to their parents, they try harder to win, which then makes the whole family stronger.

Every moment together counts, so make the most out of family time with these perfect ideas. We are looking forward to next year’s FAMILY FUN DAY!
