Observance of Flag Raising and Flag Lowering Ceromonies in TPES strictly follows a proper sequence including the singing of the Philippine National Anthem is in accordance with DEPED’s Order 50, s 2015, which is pursuant to Section 18 of Republic Act No. 8491 which stated that Flag Raising Ceremonies should be held every Monday and Flag Lowering Ceremonies every Friday afternoon.

TPES Flag Lowering Ceremony is conducted every Mondays by Grade two Pupils and their Teachers, every Wednesdays by Grade Four Pupils with their teachers and Fridays by Grade Five Pupils with their teachers too. This practice will help the children to value the importance of nationalism.

The ceremony is very simple and solemn as the teachers facilitate the symbolical act that reflects through the students behavior to love and serve the country. In this way, the children learn to value the sacrifices of our forefathers who fought to protect and defend our motherland, Philippines.
