Timoteo Paez Elementary School joins the nation in celebrating the 2022 National Women’s Month. This month-long celebration is in recognition of women’s role and contribution in nation-building and as agents of national development.
The theme “We Make Change Work for Women” from 2017 to 2022 highlights the empowerment of women as harbingers of change that is anchored on malasakit at pagbabago. Its sub-theme: “Agenda ng Kababihan, Tungo sa Kaunlaran” is a celebration of women exercising their choices, taking chances to make their voices heard, and benefitting from and trailblazing changes.
With this, lined-up activities have been prepared to empower and involve the TPES girls and women in support to the advocacy.
March 8, 2022 share about NWMC in virtual Flag Raising Ceremony before their classes started and display of the official 2022 banner outside the school-gate. TPES teachers and learners wear a purple shirt and change their fb profile with official frame provided by PCW to signify support for women’s empowerment and gender equality.
As we celebrate the 18th Women with Disabilities Day with the theme: “Kababaihang may Kapansanan sa New Normal: Kapantay, Kaisa at Kasama sa Inklusibong Kaunlaran,” Ms. Hilda P. Cristobal, Head of Pasay Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) and Ms. Rosario Charito Dulnuan share with the parents their topics about the Rights and Privileges of Persons with Disabilities on March 22, 2022.
